Joe Marchant called up to the England squad, will certainly add another dimension to the 13 shirt if picked.

Would you start him at 13 over Slade?

Missed the game yesterday so couldn't comment really. Have heard conflicting reports of Slade from people who I usually agree with. But I think marchant is class.

Good for him. Sure he won't play but will be great experience.

He certainly wouldn't let anyone down if he did. Doesn't have any weaknesses for me, a slightly-less-talented GLowe.

All of England's current centres have glaring gaps in their games. Until JJ comes back I think the 13 shirt is up for grabs. I'd give it to Daly personally.

I wouldn’t let Slade anywhere near the team after his desperate performance on Sat.

Nice to get the call up but I would be amazed if he gets selected for the team

Yeah I can't see any way he'll make the 25/23. We need the biggest centres possible against the ABs and Jones said Manu would be back.

Total guess but reckon he'll go Ford, Farrell, Te'o.

And putting it out there, but I also reckon he'll bring Brown back into the starting side and drop Nowell for Daly.

I'm with you Blucher, Brown back in and he seems to want Manu at 13 as he had always played well against the All Blacks.

I think Marchant fits the England game plan well. He can defend and create and is always available. But, broken record time, Farrell at 12 kills any flair or creativity and the 13 just ends up trucking it up because he gets ball behind the gain line.  The only reason JJ looks so good is because he can create something in an empty room.

Well done to Joe. It should be a valuable experience for him whether he gets picked or not.

Is Joseph currently injured, or just out of favour. I think Saturday showed that Daly should be considered on the wing or 13, not 15. Quite a few options now at 13 when everyone's fit - Joseph, Slade, Tuilagi, Lozowski, now MArchant, and Daly should be considered there. 12 is the problem though. Te'o, Farrell and.....Francis?

I don't really get why Manu is only being considered as a 13, not 12. What does Te'o offer at 12 that Manu doesn't?

The ability to play more than 2 games without breaking?

Can't see him changing the Farrell-at-10 decision after one game. And definitely not against the ABs. Didn't think Slade had a bad game, but the Saffas targeted Daly with the high ball from minute one and he was found desperately wanting.

Would definitely have Brown back to shore things up. Daly probably to the wing in front of Nowell, although he tends to prefer one pace man and one grafter, so he might persevere with Daly at 15.

At 13, can't see how JM is going to get ahead of MT if he's fit. Thought Te'o was very impressive given how much rugby he's played this season, so another reason not to move Farrell.

Slade missed 7 tackles. That's a bad game.

Doesn't Slade have a poor record in general for missing tackles for England? Maybe I'm imagining it but it seems to be a theme.
