The third weekend off for Quins makes the dispensation irrelevant surely?

Telegraph is busy also interviews on Saracens from Ali Hargreaves and Chris Wyles who have some pubs in Fulham carrying on the ethos of Sarries in business reckons that Nigel introduced them to all his business contacts and it is not just money at Sarries it is the ‘unique’ ethos from the Club that helped them with their future careers. They started providing bars at Saracens ground. Not everything Sarries did was bad they look after their players and encourage them to find their future .

I see no reason not to be available, its not like he played in the 3 rather drab test games is it.

But it's hardly unique, Monte. A lot of the clubs have been helping players develop outside businesses/careers for years. It's like the fanfaring of the sarries "family of clubs across the globe" as something special (pun intented) when we've had the network of affiliated Quins clubs from Dallas to Kenya to Abu Dhabi and multiple points between for decades. That's why it's had to like their attitude as being a "special" club when they're doing nothing that other clubs aren't already doing (and have been for some time).

It's all part of the Telegraph's campaign to rehabilitate Saracens in the eyes of the rugby public. So far, failing. Watch this space for Stephen Jones joining in.

I know! I am not sure why you are telling me! I have met AUH when I went down to Abu Dhabi for Quins v Wasps and also
The NBo lot when I was working there! I am just reporting what others are saying! It drives me mad too.

They probably know that once he joins in, it's all over. His unerring knack for writing the opposite of what any sane rugby fan thinks would be the kiss of death for their reputation.

They are carrying on the "Saracens ethos"? Lying to their customers and cheating the taxman instead of the cap administrators?

That article really made me laugh. Completely tone-deaf by the players. "Saracens threw money at us and now I'm raking in the dosh from my business, why aren't people talking about that? Also, don't forget they paid for hugely expensive overseas jollies for us as well!"

yes we get it, Sarries were minted and threw money at every single problem, it's not the defence you think it is lads

He has been on tour after an extended season..... Let the lad have some time off away from rugby where he doesn't have to train.
