Once again Marcus Smith snatches defeat out of the jaws of ... a draw, in this case. Terrible, terrible, stupid kick right to the Benetton player from which they score a try.

quintastic.

How can anyone think kicking it with 45 seconds to go, against 14 men is the right decision?

Pathetic performance to lose to an Italian side. So much for improvement. Losers all of them. Explain that one Gustard.

Smith really does not has a good rugby brain with poor decisions in the last couple of minutes.  Last week he gifted Exeter 2 points. This week all we needed was to keep hold of the ball with 30 seconds on the clock.

Utterly humiliating. Can't beat an Italian team with 14 players on the field for the last 10 minutes? Can't even win the last 10 minutes, let alone the match.

Guess our young 10s don't believe in good decision making- that was a Botica level fail.

The group isn't over though, although a draw would have left us in good shape, and I'd rather lose today and best Tigers in 2 weeks than vice versa but still. What a way to lose a match. We really don't like winning twice in a row either, do we? Or away.

Off the top of my head in that second half - kicked 2 or 3 out on the full, threw 2 passes straight into touch, got penalised twice for late tackles, kicked the ball away for no good reason 3 times, lost 2 lineouts on our own throw... and that's not to mention missing tackles and generally playing like a clueless mob. Keep this crap up and Gustard will be looking for a new challenge.

Beginning to wonder who is worse for closing out a game. Botica or Smith?

Frustrating rubbish after the efforts of last week. Marcus really needs to switch his brain on. Completely embarrassing.

For next week would you prefer to see Lang start with the Cat on the bench?

Maybe next season we'll get lucky and draw Yenisey-STM Krasnoyarsk in our Also Rans Cup Pool — might just be able to beat them (so long as they pick up a yellow card).
