Tongue in cheek?

Really not - he presided over the utter collapse of the team to the point where they literally didn’t care about the result. His final 2 years killled his previous contribution to the club. His fault or not - we hit rock bottom and disintegration under his so-called leadership.

At what point in his 17 years of loyal service was that - I assume you are talking about the second half of last season but can’t quite understand how an awful season could destroy Harlequins.

Good  to see his signings Playing a leading role in such a brilliant performance tonight - as I say, enjoy the win

I’m delighted. Bugger all to do with him. This bizarre loyalty is very odd. He presided over the utter capitulation of the club.

Statto check - 61% possession, 63% territory.

10-3 on clean breaks, 35 - 8 defenders beaten. THIRTY FIVE!!! Chis and Dombrandt 6 each!
500m vs 280, Dombrandt 65.

Perfect lineout, scrum and maul - 97% rucks won.

92% tackle completion vs 82%. 9 of their players made more than 10 tackles. 2 made more than 20. Not one of our players hit double digits. They made double our tackles. Not one of our players missed more than 2. 5 of theirs did.

1-8 pens, and 2 free kicks, our only bad stat. Not one of them conceded more than 1 pen.
Sinckler conceded 5 pens and 3 turnovers...I thought he played really well!

We really hammered them today, the scoreline massively flattered them. 2 tries we gifted them, one was not grounded. And kicks...

Agreed about the scoreline flattering them! And that's not being cocky after the event!

That was seriously impressive! I didn't give us a cat in hells chance. I was wrong happily 😀

The nice thing was how complete the performance was we played well and nearly every facet of the game. The only thing that really let us down was some of or kicking, I thought lang was supposed to be better then that. I'm beginning to doubt that we will ever see the cat playing for quins at any consistent level.

Optimal viewing position for a referee to see grounding:

Yeah bearing in mind he couldn’t see their continuous offside or allow us to jackal for 10 seconds before claiming we were off feet or petulantly failing to give clear penalties against D.C. because he was being cocky...

Yeah, he got that really wrong. Should have had the guts to row back.

I'm not usually one to bemoan offsides as all teams get away with it, but they often had 3 players a couple of yards off. Really needs a directive for ARs to get involved.

Wow - an intensity and pace we’ve not seen for a long time. It was actually pretty spectacular. I couldn’t quite believe my eyes!

On a side note - thought it was nice to see JK embrace and congratulate PG after the game. Clear he still has a lot of affection for the club and the players.

If you look at the other teams' message boards, a lot of them also believed that the ball was held up & not a try.
