Really annoyed there's no Saturday home friendly. Would have happily gone along to this if it were a Saturday. With work, i'll only manage to get to the Stoop at around half hour before kick off.

Did moan about this on the old board....it’s a real shame

Kids loved the family day and we took people who don’t go to rugby etc - really positive for the club

But each year there’s been less to do and now it’s a “members” event during work hours on a Friday.

Strangely I won’t be attending coz I don’t want to lose my job.

I've been to the pre-season friendlies the last few years when they've been on a Saturday, but I'll have to miss them all this season. It's a shame, as it's usually a nice day out, watch a game that there's no real pressure on, enjoy the sunshine, etc. Some of the games have provided some chuckles, like the time we played Connacht, where due to both sides fielding expanded benches Connacht had 2 x #22 and 3 x #23 on the pitch at the same time! The ref was heard to to call to talk to one of the players & said "Number 23! No, not *you* number 23, *that* number 23!".

Sarries of course have to be different and do theirs on a Sunday! Click Here
