Hi Deadly - can you expand on your innovation comment with some examples please.

Hi! I have no specifics unfortunately but I do remember chat about great new ideas and innovations early on in his tenure. I do also remember Minty subsequently saying something along the lines of having to work hard to get the players doing what he wanted them to do. Just an impression really.

Complete rock as a player, hardly had a bad moment let alone a bad game (odd brain fart in the discipline area maybe), great hands, difficult to bring down, never injured, he was the inspiration and glue in the champions' team. Boy did we miss him as a player. Massive shame we can't say the same for him as a coach - feel hollow.

Nick is Quins legend and a class act in my book. Despite all the problems of last season I feel sorry he is leaving the club. Tough call. All the best Minty and I hope one day we shall see you back at Quins.... just like Codders

All the best Minty. I'll remember you for many things, but most of all your speech on the steps of the West stand after winning the premiership. Cigar in hand. Happier times.

I really like to imagine that this is genuinely Joe posting this.

We were all there too! Only time ever the players were in the stands and we were on the pitch. Great memories.

Brilliant player for us, probably first name on the team sheet during his later years especially.

Off the field though, he's seemed a bit too arrogant for my liking and I feel that's part of what's holding him back from being a decent coach. I had hoped he would be the first one let go as he's been woeful but hopefully he finds success somewhere.

Serious demotion for Nick Evans too, from attack coach to 'Skills & Off the Ball'. Think he has more to offer however, and will do well in time.

Maybe a good place to restart your coaching career after a train smash, but it does sound a bit like being made responsible for everything other than actually playing the game!

But the demotion of Nev is to accommodate the demotion of Tofty back to attack.
