I really enjoyed that. Feared the worst when Lewies pulled out but needn’t have. Well played Tizzard on a debut with a few minutes notice. Some lovely stuff in there today and a joy to watch.

Looked great with ball in hand today. Care ran the show and Esterhuizen really does give us an extra angle but special mention for Lawday. Seemed to step up a bit today, direct carrying and doing all the necessary things to let others shine.

I know it's only half time but considering where Bath were last season Exeter have them on the ropes, perhaps puts a bit more context to our result last week?

According to Opta today’s 49 points was our highest away score in the premiership beating the 47 scored against West Hartlepool in 1999.

Yes, Lasike was a good player last season and will get some time this season, for sure. Esterhuizen has such brilliant hands and never seems to give the ball away. He sets up a great platform for the scrum half. He is solid in defence too.

Our options at 12 and 13 look good.

Yep. I think Esterhuizen’s all round skill set is underrated. He’s seen as a bosh merchant, but he can play too and showed some very nice touches today. The Saints defence isn’t the only one he’ll make dents in.

I think Saints should be a bit worried.  Been on a poor run anyway but not started well at all

They looked absolutely awful.. not sure how quickly they can turn it around.

In my humble opinion, Saints are missing a bit of control/experience at 9 and 10. Grayson and Mitchell will both be fine players, but currently they're not a patch on Biggar and Reinach.

Reinach really set the tempo for them and suited Boyd's game plan.

Good performance, thought Esterhuizen was brilliant in attack and defence. Thought Northmore had another good game, seems to read the game well and has more pace than I realised.

Dullfest, agreed. So much of that cr*p these days. Quins unleashed. It was a joy to see.

On watching the highlights, I think this game could have turned out very different.

On one of the Saints tries (on 59 minutes), Smith came out of the defence line and did a deliberate knock on.  Saints scored the try, so there was no further sanction.
But, had they not scored, then Smith would have been in the bin for 10 minutes.  It was during the period when Saints were putting some pressure on.  It may even have been a penalty try.

Hopefully, Gussy gives him a rollicking so this week so that he doesn't do it again.

Agree and I thought at the time we were lucky they scored (it was their 3rd try).

I also thought he would be yellowed if they didn't score but. I don't think a penalty try as there were still a few defenders there who may have stopped them going over.
Though with the ease that Saints scored you wouldn't have thought so!

I'm not sure if it came across on the highlights, but you could hear the TMO say to the ref that if they'd hadn't have scored Smith would have been in the bin.
