Northampton vs Harlequins Survey: RESULTS
« on: Tuesday 11-Sep-2018, 23:03* »
Well, not a shock to discover the scores aren't as high as last week. The average for both forwards and backs was just over 3, so we're really saying that performance was OK but not great overall. Outstanding in the forwards was Chris Robshaw and James Chisolm, who pulled the average up for everyone else.

In the backs, Danny Care wasn't really appreciated. Charlie Walker was even less loved. People who were loved were Nathan Earle, Marcus Smith, Joe Marchant, Ben Tapuai but none of them really approached an average of 4.

And hardly a surprise that no-one really loved the ref.

And with no further ado, here are the results. Discuss.

Considering our performances away from home have been generally poor , I thought the attitude of the squad was good against Saints . Last year we would have been grateful for a LBP away at most grounds and so wouldnt dismiss it as a bad performance .

Harsh on Charlie Walker , not sure how much ball he actually had , but only remember seeing him once ball in hand .

With regard to DC , his distribution from the breakdown is very unpredictable - they mentioned in commentary that our forwards were always taking the ball standing still and I think that's because they never know when hes actually ready to get rid of it , so cant time a run . It certainly speeds up when anyone else takes over .

DC does so much good stuff , I wish the coaches would work on that arm flapping and complaining and get it out of his game .
