OT: Film "Fighting with My Family"
« on: Monday 25-Mar-2019, 09:00* »
Saw this film at the weekend.
The guy who plays Rikki (the Dad) is the spitting image of Joe Marler when he had the mohican.
I had to check the credits to ensure Joe wasn't moonlighting.
Film itself is OK, plot is a bit "paint by numbers" but a good feel good film.

While we're on bad film recommendations - watched Bohemian Rhapsody - lord knows how he won an Oscar, what for? Wearing big teeth and miming?

Turns out according to the film, Freddie would have been fine if the gays hadn't got to him.

Nick Frost plays the father doesn't he? He looks quite like Eddie Hall in the trailers I've seen.

I want to watch it - I know it'll be pretty silly but looks like it's quite good fun and with the all important cameo from the Rock

Heretic. Leave my Rami Malek alone. While we're on the subject, anyone who has Amazon Prime should watch Mr Robot. Definitely his best work - and no big teeth or miming.

To return this thread to rugby, momentarily....Nick Frost was a stalwart of Barking RFC, a few age groups below Sir Jason of Leonard.
