I still hate sevens.

I'd rather watch synchronised swimming at the dentists.

I really like the sevens, it`s what goes with it that I hate.

used to enjoy going to the Middlesex 7s with my dad in the 80s, have very little interest in 7s these days.

The floodlit 7s at Rosslyn Park is still good fun. You get the entertaining rugby, enjpoy a few drinks and some food, but without the thousands of morons in fancy dress doing Mexican waves, chucking their empty (or not empty) beer cups and holders, constant interruptions as people go to get more drinks or to the toilet, etc. It's basically like the old Middlesex 7s, not the new Tickenham IRB one, which I won't go to anymore as too many people are there for the all day drinking but not remotely interested in the rugby.

Hong Kong 7s is still the top of my wish list though

The Middlesex 7s has basically reverted to a small event at the Richmond athletic ground nowadays. As soon as the Premiership Clubs decided to have their own tournament, the writing was on the wall for the M7s in the format that it was in the early '00s. There was also the short-lived "World Club 7s" that didn't help.

I'd love one year to do the Melrose 7s if we're invited again.
