Bedfordshire Boy - Absolutely.

He describes the dismissal of Carre as "plain wrong" and then goes on to describe the tackle over two paragraphs.  He concludes that the tackle was "shoulder to shoulder.  Not head to head.  Possibly, it was a yellow card".

He puts this whole episode down to "an inadequate referee.... after flourishing the red he signalled his own downfall because he was awful for the rest of the game"

I did not see the game.  There is, however, a big difference between how Jones reports the tackle and the clip you have attached.  Hardly credible reporting when the bias he employs is so obvious.

Why does Jones love Saracens with such total blind loyalty? Why does he think they can do no wrong and players would even pay Saracens to let them play for them? Can he not see they are salary cheats, still are salary cheats and should face even greater fines? Does he not see players like Farrell will not get red carded from Christmas so there is no chance he will miss the 6 nations?

Expense account lunches can buy a lot particularly those with little integrity.
