See you at the stadium Grandad. Assume you are in your normal position today?

Lovely sunny morning in Twickers. Let the game begin!

You mean let the drunken thuggery, threats of violence, abuse, and crapping and pissing in the street begin.

Town centre full of people drinking at 0945 and the bloody Cabbage Patch is open - how the hell is that allowed?

I don't but I work at Twickenham Stadium. Grandad used to work at the Stoop.

. Think you’ll find pubs are allowed to open.  Pretty sure you’ll find whetherspoons open for breakfast on most days.  The CP will look at it as a massive boost to takings.

Yes I’m aware they are allowed to. My question is why that’s the case when the game is attended by anti social violent louts who drink themselves to death and treat the town like a toilet, bin and prison yard rolled into one - and the RFU and police claim to be trying to stop it being such a disaster.

. The majority of the 80000 are not those people you describe I have already conceded that there is some bad behaviour that I nor the Forces support.  You are now trying to cast everyone with the same brush.  If you do not support the forces fine but this is not the place to do so.  Sitting on your computer behind some made up name will not change a thing and only makes you look a fool.  If you feel that strongly i’d Suggest you lobby your MP.

It seems that members of the RFU Council have now been told to behave themselves!

Well said
My son was at the game yesterday was in the pub having breakfast at half 9 with 8 army friends, they drank all day saw no trouble and the only idiot they met was at the station who seemed to have a problem having to que to go to central London for a night out because all of the “ **** squaddies” his words to them, and he was told to go forth and multiply
A great many of those attending have fought for this country and if they want to get smashed in Twickenham once a year is it that much of an issue
Yep town is horrible on the day, but let’s face it football goes on ever weekend and sees the same sort of behaviour and in some cases a lot more trouble

So we should put up with it because it happens near football stadiums where we don’t live?

Or because people only break the law once a year? Must remember to murder my mother in law on that day when it doesn’t matter and we should just deal with it coz it’s only a bit of high spirited murdering.

Your freedom to sit behind the safety of your keyboard and make offensive and inaccurate comments is protected by the very people who attended yesterday. It was a great game and event. 80k there with many families and children including mine who had a great time and saw no trouble.

You do like to twist it all for n argument don’t you Bluecher
That’s not what I said, you’ve said violent anti social louts, tarred everyone with the same brush, and I’ve pointed out that’s not the case, yes some are idiots, but you get them at every sporting event
There where people urinating in the rose bone on Friday next to cars, and there where portaloos
