On paper at least, you would expect Quins to amass 20 to 30 points in this pool.

Enjoy being part of the Champions Cup but in some ways this competition can be more fun.

Will definitely be doing one of the away trips and almost certain it will be to Treviso.  Only just realised how easy it is to get to.

Think given the changes at the club and the difficulties of the last couple of seasons it'll be nice not having the pressure of the Champions Cup and that should help league performances, which have to be the priority.

Straight over the Brenner Pass down to lake Garda take a left at the Autostrada junction towards Venice, leave Autostrada about 35km before Venice. For me it's about  3.5 to 4 hour drive dependant on traffic!

Cheap direct Ryanair flights from Stansted to Treviso I believe...It seemed the easiest to get to of the 3.

on the 27th Jul EPC Rugby said they expected to announce the fixtures in around 2 weeks time. So hopefully this week, but could be next week I guess.

Aren't we all! I'd hope they'll announce them this Friday. It's down to the bartering between the broadcast partners in each country as to which games are going to be on TV. At least this year there's one less TV company involved with Sky not having the rights anymore (and even less Stuart Barnes to have to listen to!).

If it is to be today, as 12 noon has passed and there's nothing on the EPCR site, then is 2pm to be the witching hour?

EPCR Q&A:

FIXTURES: CAN YOU EXPLAIN HOW THE FIXTURES ARE SCHEDULED?

The process of confirming the fixtures for the Heineken Champions Cup and Challenge Cup begins after the pool draws which take place in June each season.

The pool fixtures are confirmed during the summer, following a scheduling process which includes consultation with the 40 competing clubs, league bodies and broadcast partners across each territory.

EPCR is challenged with producing a balanced and fair schedule which takes into account club preferences, restrictions at many shared stadia, date requests associated with moves to larger venues as well as ensuring our broadcasters across Europe can carry as many compelling matches as possible from Friday evening through to Sunday.

This means that on certain occasions some clubs will have a slightly longer turnaround than others, but this will usually balance out across a campaign.
