They either are already or are going to offer players retainers of £12000 to £15000 and match fees of £200 to £250. RFU contracted players get £28000 I think so potentially up to £50000 for top players plus perks.

Was a strange game.  First half was brutal from Quins.  Sarries probably could have had more than the one yellow. Numerous pens, they could not cope with Quins forwards. They scored with the last play of the half and I think that changed everything.  Gave them a lift just before ht.  Second half reversed, ref totally flipped and then Quins seemed to be on the wrong end of his whistle.  My own view, Quins forwards tired and cuold not keep up the intensity, as mentioned above, had a few players missing and the bench was not quite as strong as Sarries and that told.  We did score in the final minute but that was ruled out (incorrectly) by the ref (but it was a tough decision for him).  Then held up under the post with the last play.  Great advert for the womens game.  Sarries 2 points clear at the top now.  I would bet my house on a Quins/Sarries final (for the third year running).  Both miles ahead of everyone else currently
