What sort of side does anyone think that we will put out?
Apparently, should we win, we would need Saracens to beat Sale in order for the final to be at the Stoop.
Put out strongest team and keep continuity also lets win something silver, its been a while.
Tough one. Post match Gussy suggested we'd rotate a bit and give some youngsters a run out. Although we apparently only have 10 1st team backs fit so may not have too much wriggle room. I would go with something like:
Auterac
Musk
Kerrod
Cuvabati
Young
White/Evans
Kunatani
Chisholm
Saunders
Herron
Chisholm
Penny
Murley
Goneva
Lynagh
Gussie said we only had 10 fit backs so not much choice.
Injuries aside, you’d imagine it will look a little like the squad that played Clermont.
EXETER have a huge number of injuries - I’d imagine Sale will beat Saracens.
Good to give Musk, Cavubati, Lamb, Herron some more game time.

Should be at a neutral ground, surely? They've had time to organise it as it has been some time since the last game and no one else will be playing other than 2 of those 4 teams...

When it was the Anglo-Welsh they used to pick a ground at the start. Usually it ended up as a neutral venue, but Exeter won it at Sandy Park the year after us. It was the luck of the draw.

Luck of the draw and a lack of toss.

The final will be at the home ground of the highest ranked remaining team. Rankings for the semi finals were based on the group stage, so are:
1 - Sale
2 - Exeter
3 - Quins
4 - Sarries
Therefore if Sale beat Sarries then the final will be at Sale. If Sarries win then it will be at the winners of Exeter v Quins.
Sale have said that if the final is at their place, their members (ST Holders) will get free entrance. Hope that if ends up as Us v Sarries as the final, we'd offer the same deal to our members.

I understood the rule, Dr, but I don't understand why they have changed from a playing a final at neutral venue (did we not win the predecessor to this cup in Worcester?) to one that donates advantage to the highest ranked SF side.
Anyway, I hope we put out a team to win at Exeter - no shame in playing in a final, at what ever level - and as we are in it, play to win it!
