Good to hear how Harry served the country he doesn’t want to live in any more. I don’t see why English rugby needs a patron but if we do, we can surely find one who wants to live here.

I largely agree with you - I just think that bashing Harry because he's thick (and so is his Mum, by a certain poster's assertion) are not called for and, as you say, are irrelevant apart from having no truth.

Absolutely agree with you re Harry, he has done a lot of fantastic work for all veterans and especially those who have been medically discharged. You have to have some brains to be a helo commander.
For those like 'Dazza' who chose to stay at home.  Let's be clear you are in no position to judge the brains or otherwise of someone who has performed the function of Forward Air Controller (1st Tour) and Apache Pilot (2nd Tour) in Afghanistan.  Harry did his job, he earned the respect of the people with whom he served and those he was supporting.  If you want to say otherwise get your credentials out on the table and let's dissect them.

I also served in Ireland, Africa, Bosnia, Iraq (1st & 2nd War) and Afghanistan.  I absolutely understand and appreciate the work that Harry did, and continues to do for injured veterans.  I also appreciate the leadership and dedication that the royal family bring with their patronage because I have seen it first hand.  The lads in the trenches may have a bravado amongst themselves because they are young lads, but you role out the Queen (or for the Marines Prince Philip) and just see how they react - puffed out chests, pride... Patronage from the Royal Family isn't about free seats! I simply don't believe that such comments are anything other than clickbait.

And finally Dazza... seriously?  Regurgitating the inside pages of the Guardian and delivering lame, uneducated garbage?  Surely you are better than that?  Now lets back to the rugby FFS!!!

From my time undertaking rehab at Headley Court talking to those who had met Prince Harry you could understand just how much support he gives those injured during service and injured veterans. From what those I talked to said it wasn't just a case of a one of how are you but follow ups to see how they are getting on either back in active service or in civvy street.

To be fair, Dazza never did challenge Harry's brains - that was Rocker. So you might wish to re-align your response. But I suspect you decided to unload on Dazza as he does not appear to support royalty.

Its only your opinion that what he has listed from the Guardian that it is "uneducated garbage":  many of the points that the Guardian raises are moot - I doubt that the paper chose to print lies - its not a red-top - the allegations warrant further investigation.

Now lets back to the rugby FFS!!!

Now that you have had your rant, we can get back to rugby - is that what you mean?

Before having a dig at me, read what I said again. I never said anything about Harry's intelligence, all I said about him was let him be if he wants to be a socialite with his wife, who hot a lot of abuse by the press

Surprised there is not some crappy reality show lined up full of non famous "celebrities" or "Influencers" that have no influence over anything worthwhile

Having now seen that Harry having gone to the US to escape the media is now giving a media interview to complain about the media before he and his wife give a massive media interview (where they will no doubt complain about the media in return for a lot of money from the media) I can only hope the      next RFU Patron is not a steaming hypocrite.

(I speak as a royalist).

Ah, no, that's an easy one.

Giving interview to the media - you have chosen to do this and are in control of it.
Media invading your privacy without your permission - you have not chosen to do this and have every right to expect it to not happen.
Media running a vicious years-long campaign against your wife, for the hat-trick of crimes (being non-white, non-English, and non-subservient) - also something you shouldn't have to put up with.

He's not complaining about being in the media. He's talking about the scummy stuff the tabloids do. "The media" is just too broad and pointless a term.

Not as easy as stating things you would like to be true as being true in order to pursue an argument though.

I'll stick with my opinion and leave you to yours thanks.

Didn’t work that way for his Uncle Andrew.

OK. That seems a strange response to an honest reply but I will respect your wishes.

That's very kind of you to respect my right to stick with my opinion (which seemed an odd response to me but hey ho).

I find this to be like the guy in the pub who has just come from a protest about Communication Towers blighting the landscape and then complains about how he cant get a signal to ring his wife.
Or the absolute classic, Swampy being asked by what means he got to the site of a road protest:) :)
