Anyone else endure Worcs v Tigers?

Utterly terrible match between two bad sides.

But Worcs nicked it - Falcons going down?

We should celebrate how well were attacking and our league position, its been a long time we’ve been this high.  Players, fans and coaches all know or D needs to be stepped up, but lets be honest apart from to odd turnover teams are not coming through us anymore they more often than not have to go round.  Highlighted already with Earles wing, it simply an in to out system, from m seat in south stand you can see we are a little too tight when using the system.

But hey we’re in 3rd after 2 BP wins on the bounce. I’m fairly chuffed.

It would be a real shame to see Falcons go. They’ve a massive game next week with Worcester going to Kingston Park. Lose that and I’d say it’s very very likely they’ll finish bottom.

BRFC - most players in the 6N 23s won’t be released for next weekend. That said a lot of Bath’s internationals are actually injured.

On the subject of Newcastle going down - I hope the don’t too, but have a sneaking suspicion that no-one will be going down.

My understanding is that players from other 6 Nations countries (other than England) will be (must be) released for the English Premiership next weekend eg Dan Bigger last week for Saints.

Unless they can come up with a way to bring LI up & sort out the new format with 13 teams for Premiership & Premiership Cup, along with how to handle another English team in the ERCC competitions & how that will work all within the next month and a half, I think it's too late to ring-fence for the 2019/20 season.

I think Falcons MUST win next week if they're to have any chance of staying up. They're currently 9 points off Bristol in 11th and Worcester in 10th. That's a mountain to climb at this point in the season.

Yeah, I’d be sorry to see Newcastle go down, but based upon their recent form, I can’t see them picking up the wins they’d need to catch-up with Bristol.

They’ve won 3 from 14 games so far. At that win loss ratio, they’ll be lucky to win two games, whereas Bristol are competitive enough to win another couple. Even when they don’t win, Bristol are picking up BPs, Newcastle aren’t. There’s little evidence to suggest they can claw it back.

Yorkshire Carnegie’s implosion has also put a bit of a spanner in the works of a 14 team competition. There’s no way they could be included when they’re 10th in the Championship and looking unlikely to climb the table.

Call me blinkered, but if we keep scoring more points than the opposition, I'll find it hard to care much how many they score.

I decided this season (after being quite negative last season) to try and be more positive this term. But I really can't be getting upset about conceding some tries because what that *might* mean for upcoming games. I'll worry about that if it actually happens.

I'll have to say that I agree. People talk about the All Blacks being the best team in the world but they don't focus on the number of tries they concede, or the number of penalties they give away. It's about other teams being unable to beat them.

Im happy so long as we keep winning and I don't see all of our defence as a disaster area .

I think most of our 'structured ' defence is fine - not much coming through from that , its when we cough the ball up and the oppo can realign quickly and move the ball out wide , we struggle to scramble back into shape and suffer from the fast line breaks of players like Piatau from Briz and Adams from Wuss .

We also have our own speedsters and opposition suffer in the same way against us , so its not just a Quins problem
