Terrible basic skills. Passing was awful, handling was poor and kicking was useless. Real lack of quality at 9/10 for us. Anyone who said they would not take Cipriani at Quins, today showed how good he would be for us. I can live with players having bad games, it happens. Today it seemed they all decided to do it at the same time!!!. Lewis, just terrible, he is the exception to the above, cant really recall seeing him have a good game for us. Not Barnes fault we lost that, need to look at ourselves rather than at him (although I do think he should have looked closer to the potential pen try for us). Today still showed that we rely a bit too much on certain players, and when they are missing/not playing well there may not be enough back up to make up for it.
Not all doom, we are still in a very healthy position and top 4 is ours to lose.
Didn’t he come from Bristol?
Yes. But sarries academy, then Plymouth. Then us, then brizz. My point being that he is hardly the creme de la crème.
Absolutely dreadful, comfortably the worst performance of the season.
In all fairness, he is only 24/25 still. That is still ‘young’ for a hooker. Usually reach peak performance around 28 apparently.
I wouldn’t be too harsh on him, he’s most definitely improved since his time at his other clubs, of which his latest at Bristol he was unfortunate with injuries so was unable to develop.
Without him this season, we could be in a worse off position.
Agree with Jammy - terrible performance - we looked like a bottom of table side with no confidence or application -lets hope we have got this out of the system and can go on from here 😎
Think that is harsh on Crumpton, spent quite a while injured early on. And you cant judge how good a player is just based on his previous employment. Boyce heading to Bath next season, could call him a journeyman but I think he is a very good player.
Our performance was embarrassing, but credit to Glos - they were very good indeed.
Time for Brown and Robshaw to... sling their 'ooks.

Completely second this! I think Crumpton’s been fantastic for us this year...
Thinking about it, Cipriani has been a round a bit, Would have him in a heartbeat!!! Likewise Earle (Sarries academy, Bedford, L Scottish, Canterbury). Re Crumpton, Plymouth was on loan (To get game time from Sarries Academy) and Quins was as injury cover.
I think Rodney was saying crumpton has been fantastic and we're missing him
Yep, I thought the term Journeyman was harsh on Crumpton though. 4 Clubs, but one was on DR as a kid, and one was injury cover.
Gloucester 29 - Last years Quins 7. We never turned up & were totally outplayed, outmuscled, outfought, & outclassed everywhere. There were no positives out there at all for Quins. Gloucester looked awesome, & made us look pathetic. Cipriani wouldnt have made any difference for us. This is one we just have to move on from. Absolutely well played Gloucester!

Brown's attitude stank today.
Robshaw, on the other hand, was pretty much the only Quins player to apply himself. Carried hard, tackled hard, chased every lost cause, and got over the ball plenty.
