It's the roll in of the right shoulder that puts it into the Red Card territory for me.

Presumably he will be cited.

Even if he's sanctioned, that doesn't help Fiji. The outcome of the game would have been different had they been playing against 14 for 55 minutes. In a long league competition like the Premiership, that matters less as the subsequent bann will have a longer term effect on the results. In a short comp like the RWC the effect is more an impact on Fijis position.

Yes feel sorry for Fiji, they were the better team for large parts of that match. If Australia had been down to 14 I think Fiji would have won that. Big upset!
I think some of the reffing hasn't been great, lots of offside from NZ yesterday that went unnoticed and unpunished.

quintastic.

Seems like the tackle process for deciding a high tackle is being ignored still or rather is consistent from what we saw in the warm up matches especially the Dan Bigger leaping head tackle on Lawes which wouldn't have looked out of place on the Serengeti.

Thought England and Tonga got a good ref today.

Yep, and Barnes referred the earlier game well too.

Pretty poor show by Roman Poite in the Russia vs. Samoa game today; two clear red cards but he gave yellow.

Seems World Rugby think some of the reffing is not up to par
