We're clearly out of tune with what refs want to see, but I'm continually frustrated with what other sides get away with in terms of flopping over the ball and offside. It's also a bit worrying if they are going in with preconceptions - not least because it leads to errors like the Dombrandt interception on Friday - WB could have let that play out and then gone back to check the offside rather than blow instantly, and if Quins were perceived differently by refs he might have done.

No idea how we change that, but it has to be a priority for the off-season.

I think we also get away with some stuff, and the annoying thing for me is that refs aren't enforcing the laws. That leads to teams trying to get away with more, and more, and more... subsequently when a penalty is given, the issue becomes "why wasn't the similar offence penalised?". Players flopping over the ruck, entering from the side, playing beyond the ruck; they're all spoiling the game.

Whether other teams do it more is a moot point. Of course we notice other teams doing it more as it impacts negatively on us.

The fact that refs (appear to) have a preconceived negative opinion of us is a concern though.
