« on: Thursday 24-Jan-2019, 08:43* »
Anyone else on here doing this tonight? ....

Rugby Through The Decades - 24th January

Join us at our first Members Evening of 2019 when we welcome former Quins, International and British and Irish Lions players including Harlequins President, Bob Hiller, Ugo Monye, Billy Bushell and Neil Edwards together with current players from the Academy and Ladies teams as we explore “Rugby through the Decades”.

Come and hear the players, past and present, recounting their personal stories about how the game was played in their era, how it has changed, their International and Lions tour experiences and how they see the game developing in the future.  The evening will be compared by Harlequins, Joe Yates-Round.

The event will be held in the Kings Bar on 24th January 2019 at 19.30 with doors and the bar opening at 18.30

Yep, I'll be going. Sounds like it should be good. I keep missing Quinssa talks and can't make the Gustard one, so looking forward to this

Agree - another good Quinssa Event.  The two academy youngsters came across very well - inspired to invite them along.

Need to ask the club to put 50p in the heating meter for the next event though!

Well done Quinssa , amusing and informative as always , great to hear from Luke as an Academy player and Ellie as an Amateur lady - interesting perspectives from them .

I think the biggest clap came for Luke when they talking about which Law they would change and he said he wouldn't allow scrum penalties to be kicked for goal as that might speed the scrums up .

Everytime I hear Ugo speak I become more impressed with his  delivery , he always makes well constructed arguments .

Looking forward to the Paul Gustard evening in a couple of weeks or so
