Robshaw was incredible on Saturday. Why on earth would we not want to keep him. A couple of years left, and unlikely to cost as much as he used to.

So this look like we're gonna give him the captaincy to make him stay then?

That seems as bad an idea as when we gave it to Joe or Danny.

To be fair, I think Joe is now one of the good leaders on the pitch, managing the refs well at scrum time etc. I think he was just given the role too early.

They’ll not only bring it up but go on about it I imagine. They do like to make a bit of a soap opera out of things like this. Particularly as with Bristol doing well and picking up some big name signings they’re flavour of the month with BT.

Is he worth £500000 for Quins? Would you rather Dom, Earle and Marchant or Sinckler and Marchant..... Who is likely to win us more games? You can’t have them all and Sinckler is never likely to play more than half the games at best! Sinckler’s salary is probably = to Dom + Earle + a squad player next year!

Great player and everyone would want him but you will always need good cover for him, so can you spend so much on a player not around all the time.

I won’t mind if we swap him for Thacker.

TRP this morning basically saying that he is off to Bristol and that it is a done deal (not sure how as I thought he could not do anything until Jan).  We are interested in Balmain and Williams as replacement.

A more enjoyable read was that we are after (along with Bath). Leone Nakarawa for next season

Will be interesting next year when Joe and Kyle face each other, my money is on Joe getting inside Kyle's head!  I think it will be fun to watch

I must admit that having had to watch our team suffer the onfield consequences of his behaviour in the early years, and to stand by him throughout, it's rather galling to lose him now he's matured and become a huge asset. As a youngster in prop terms I'd like to have seen another year or so from him in the quarters.

If you think that Ugo might have had to leave if Strets had not taken so long to sign his contract he should certainly know what he is talking about and presumably still has the inside track with players. However, not sure the Clubs would agree and for Club’s like Bristol and Sarries with wealthy owners it would be a further huge advantage as presumably outside salary cap.
