I thought he was outstanding v Clermont and looked like a natural backup for Care. Sharp passing, smart decision making and barely any mistakes. I'm keen to know what other people think?

SHC has provided us with the quickest ball all year. He’s looked a bit rusty but I doubt he was getting much game time in Wales. I’d definitely like to see him along with Saunders and Waters to back up DC.

He looked much sharper than last week but let's see how he goes over the next few weeks, assuming Care is still injured.

I can’t see the whole question for the pole, on my screen it cuts off mid sentence. What is the question in full please? He played well tonight in any case!

I thought he was slow and ponderous last week against Saints, but he picked up the tempo along with the rest of the team against Clermont

He played well but with Care and Landanjo as 1 and 2 I’m not sure he’d be too keen on leaving Wales to be 3rd choice somewhere else.

He looked good but for a couple of silly penalties again which if we had cut out may have won us the game

Interested to see some reasons to the 'no' answers. Not disagreeing or agreeing, just keen to know thoughts behind answers.

I know we've only seen him play 2 games but for me, yesterday proved that he fits in with the fast paced game we like to play. His service would rival Care for speed and his passes were very accurate. I'm a Mulchrone fan but based on yesterday I'd have SHC as no.2 - I think he's better than both Charlie & Dave.

Based on a good performance and a poor one (in my opinion) I'm not yet convinced. I feel that a combination of Care and Landajo will have us covered.

I also think that the dynamic with Smith needs more work than with our other options at 9. If there had been a 'I'd need to see more' I would have voted for that.

He has very disappointing against Saints, but pretty good against Clermont.  While Care and Landajo looks like a strong pairing, they are 32 and 30 respectively while SHC is 25 so, with more performances like last night, I'd be happy to add him for the future.

I would happily do a swapsie with Dragons SHC for either Mulchrone or Lewis

Sam is a class act. Look at Scotland's embarrassment of riches at S/H and see he has had a decent bundle of caps. He has effectively had no game time this season at Scarlets so his rustiness agaunrs Saints was understandable. Hus perdomamce against Clermont is much more representative of his talents. He is way superior to Lewis and better than Mulchrone, whom Im a fan of.
