I'm not sure I trust any article that says the one time Saracens looked in trouble this season was against Leicester. Sure, there was a sinbin period in which Tigers clawed their way back into the game, but there's only been one game this season where Sarries were behind at half time...
I might as well argue that the template is to take lots of kicks at goal, miss them, and have someone leap majestically to claim the ball and the try. Very hard to defend against.
