Season ticket sales
« on: Thursday 23-Aug-2018, 14:12* »
Having received 2 postcards from the club today informing me that it’s Still not too late to renew my season ticket I wonder what the sales are like.

Normally the club posts announcements on social media with a message of the increased number of sales year on year but nothing so far. I wonder if the lack of any announcements are an indicator that sales have dropped.

I’ve asked the club via twitter somwai5 to see but anyone any ideas if the figures are down?

Have also been wondering about this.
If I remember correctly there is too be a cap on Members/Season Ticket holders this season I think it was 9500. Would like to know if anywhere near this number.

They seem to be more interested in "harnessing their swagger" (shudder) on Facebook at the moment...flogging off training shirts that look like National Express coach seat material...

Wouldn’t call £62 flogging them off, unless there is a discount I am unaware off, please let me know!

They need to concentrate on getting backsides in seats. Oh and making sure the team can play and win matches.

There's almost daily social media posts on season ticket sales as well as trying to flog kits so it's not as if they're neglecting to do anything about ST sales at all.

I'm not surprised there's been a churn after last year as I think for a lot of people it stopped being fun. I almost called it a day myself.

Agreed they are pushing season ticket sales but would like to know what the sales look like compared to previous seasons.

I always say that about shirts but then warm round to them eventually (most of the time!)

Do like the Adidas kits though!

So they shouldn’t sell any kit? I’m confused. What should our marketing strategy be?

I was keeping an eye on the online season ticket purchase seat maps around the member renewal deadline towards the end of May.
The day after the deadline I estimated there were around 1500 additional seats showing as available to purchase than the day before the deadline.

It's possible that some members renewed after the deadline though.
