Sheer arrogance of Salarycens and their fans.....
« on: Sunday 10-Nov-2019, 15:19* »
Have they seen their squad?? Have they noticed how many world class/internationals/Lions players they have?? Do they not care about the salary cap?? Notice they now posses the top two English hookers now too?? Was really irritated by their behaviour yesterday. Sanderson quoting Katy Perry and Wiggy going ballistic after the win in the dressing room....no shame whatsoever........ CHUCK THE BOOK AT THEM!!!!!!!!!! >:(

I must admit I thought the same. They’ve shown little or none in the way of humility in fact they’ve been the opposite.they know they broke the rules but in their eyes it’s justifiable.

I think we all have to calm down and just ignore them they seemed to be taking energy from this and not hanging their heads in shame.

Unfortunately, with a few notable exceptions, Brian Moore being the latest today, the majority of the pundits and media are backing them. All repeating the Sarries spin. Eric Idle has now tweeted as apparently Wray is his cousing and the best bloke ever to have been born

Quote from: Eric Idle
Nigel Wray is my first cousin and the most honourable man I know.  He is philanthropic, kind, generous and has done a brilliant job with Saracens which has resulted in the popularizing of rugby generally.
I totally support him.
⁦@Saracens⁩
Hadn't realised he was responsible for the games popularity growing.

I wouldn't mind if we spent over the salary cap. We spend up to it and get dross like we saw on Saturday.

I believe he was also responsible for peace in Northern Ireland and the invention of the Hadron Collider too.

At least that's what the Cheaters fans say.

Yep. The Guardian's doing a full court press in favour of Saracens at the moment - barely a hint of criticism, lots of full-throated support.

Other newspapers do get a bit miffed when they have not broken the story and aren’t able to quickly climb aboard. The mail is hinting at further revelations and obviously has huge resources invested in this story. I think the other titles have decided to get on the other side to generate interest.
