So he got something wrong then....or got himself into a fight he couldn't get out of (can't think of anyone else who does that).

Yes, I assume so. I don't follow him, so not sure of the details, but it certainly has the hallmarks of a flounce

Unless the Cat is going to Japan - as rumoured in a couple of places then I can't see us having much room to bring in many more players under the cap - assuming that Semi and Lasike are injury jokers then we've almost brought in as many players as we're likely to lose.

1. Landajo - Lewis
2. Botta Garcia - Boyce
3. Capagnaro - Alofa
4. Baldwin - Ward + Buchannon
5. Lewies - Merrick
6. Northmore - Cheeseman
7. Lawday - Luamanu
8. Young - Glynn
9. Evans - Wallace
10. Heron - Walker
11. Kerrod - McNulty/Swainston
12. Freeman - ??

Read something in the metro about Quins being in for Cipriani but already have three FH’s and wondered whether the Catrakilis was refusing to be released from his contract. Why would you if you’re on a big money deal even if you never play another game. Any pay off comes under the cap so that option is probably out. Would have to rely on a better deal elsewhere to tempt him away.
A sense of decency?  I recall we had a SA 2nd row Botha I Think a few years ago who was getting on - had a serious injury and said he was going to retire so said we could annul the contract.

Sadly however you are correct we are stuck until his contract ends.

Heard from someone last year who knows Cats family that his near death experience affected him to the extent that he was unlikely to be able to play again.  In that instance if it was me I like to think I would say I cannot do this I am not fit for purpose so to speak so give me a couple of months money and I will be off.

How can he turn up to training and think he has the respect of other players when he know he is not going to be involved in any meaningful way.  In fact what is the point of him going to training.

I'd suggest that the fact he was on the bench this weekend means your information is either old or incorrect. He wouldn't be on the bench if what you've described is the reality of the situation.

Has Walker been confirmed as leaving?

Only Boyce, Alofa, Merrick have been confirmed so far I think. But if Walker's here next season I'll streak in the first 10 mins of the first home game.

Dont forget Swiel left mid season, plus there is Lambert, Mulchrone, Waters??

Im also not sure if Lasike and Semi were signed as "Medical" replacements, I thought they were just signed on short term deals this season

It's pretty common for people who spend a lot of time professionally on twitter to get sick of it. The endless abuse and idiocy must be really wearing.

If all it takes is a bit of idiocy then how have we all lasted so long?

Presumably he just sings and they all die of boredom.

His social media is hilarious. He is very good at responding to, let's call them "negative" comments.
