I met CMK last Friday night in the England changing room at Twickenham. He’s a lot taller and funnier than you’d think. But not that tall or funny.. I don’t know why he was there. They were handing out the stash for the Twickenham ball team which my daughter is in in case you were wondering.

What does "the stash for the Twickenham ball team" mean?

Stash is what players call their kit. The ball team are the youngsters who get the balls to the players during the games. They were receiving their kit for this year. They get much the same as the England players so they all look smart and like a “team”.

CMK did say that a certain team in the Premiership had instructed its ball boys to be very slow in getting balls to the opponents. He said that it would not happen at Twickenham. He wouldn’t tell me who it was and  they were told not to do it again.

I thought that was just common practice at all grounds, along with ball boys not offering a towel to the opposition hookers at line outs.

Yeah. There's got to be some perks to playing at home!
