It's a lot to do with the on-field mentality. How do you respond to a setback? Jan to May 2018, Quins always looked up for games and were competitive for the first half. However, when things went wrong (conceding a try/losing a man) the boys took it hard and then looked susceptible to conceding again and again. Which seems to have been the case on Saturday as well.
It, therefore, needs a bit of mental toughness and determination from the boys. A collective belief that 'that won't happen again', and then making sure it doesn't! Easier said than done, I know!
I have a lot of faith and belief in the players and am optimistic about Gustard's approach. The team can always have 'Remember Glasgow' as their warning catchphrase when adversity comes their way next season!
As fans, we can give the boys a huge lift in the next two games. All summer the talk has been about how amazing the atmosphere is at the Stoop. I am excited about getting back there!
