Barring Care & Marler, I think the biggest losses of those 12 would be (In no order) W. Evans, T. Green, I. Herbst & N. Jibulu.

Of course any player leaving is, generally, a shame but in a short career you cant blame anyone for wanting to play more and getting more £s...

I would pretty much reverse that order. The hardest player to replace of those rumoured to be leaving is Anyanwu - unless Quins think Bradley or Hyde will be ready next year - then I would say:
- Jibulu - although we have several good hookers, he looks like a future England fixture.
- Herbst - unflashy, but has made himself a reliable option at lock when our other options are injury prone
- Marler - already switched to being backup to Baxter. We need to work out who the replacement replacement is, though.
- Green - it's hard to imagine the team without him, but it was hard to imagine the team without Brown. David has played well at fullback, though (and prefers it to wing), Murley, Slevin and Anderson all also play there. Not short of options, we just haven't seen any of them play there much
- Evans - sad to see him go, because he's a great guy, but you can't begrudge him the payday. We already know that Kenningham is a more than able deputy (and has a more rounded gameplan). We have back row cover coming through in Trenholm and Schmid
- Care - already playing backup to Porter, and I would be inclined to have Friday on the bench from next season.

Joseph is a talented player. He's had limited opportunities during his time with us and that's largely due to Beard upping his game and claiming the 13 shirt.

Given we have Beard and Northmore ahead of him at 13, it's a move that makes sense for both parties.

Did we actually sign Joseph or was he cover. We only got him because Irish went under so he hasn’t come through the academy or was targeted as a big name recruit.

Of the proposed outs, the only one that I in some way do not understand is Jibulu. Evans I get seeking a payday. If Anyanwu is being offered vast sums to play in France, I understand that.  Green and Herbst may want to return home or seek another experience in europe before doing so. Care and Marler are coming to the end and are club legends, they can go whenever they want, and their replacements are here already.

With Jibulu, you don't let that sort of talent, that young, out of the door, when you should be building around players like that for the next five years. Imagine letting a 21 or 22 year old Marler, Robshaw, or even Baxter go? There might be reasons we aren't aware of, but without those to hand, it makes such little sense.

The core of this team for the next 5 years is players like Baxter, Lamb, CCS, Dombrandt, Kenningham, Smith, Murley, Beard etc. There is no reason why Jibulu should not be on that list. You don't let good young players like that walk and stay a good team over a period of time.

After yesterday's game, I wonder if Tyrone is looking at the fact that he will soon be England qualified... He's definitely a step up from Steward.

Just watching Italy v Georgia and Dino is having a great game, just wondering when his contract is up. Hopefully we can keep him and he is not going to have to move to Italy to continue his international career as Lynagh had to.

It would be good if we could sign a few Georgians, especially their No.15 Niniashvili (although I believe he is the target of French Clubs with fat cheque books).
