Pretty sure prices are the same, or not much different if any increase.

Since they closed the players lounge to fans post match I've stopped going into the bar after matches as it's always far too crowded.

Depends how alert/awake/trained the staff are - I bough the same beer from the same bar and was charged different prices three times at the Bath game...(excluding charge for plastic cup)

One problem of  the ecash system . - on two occasions Ive been to the bar , bought 4 pints and given cups back , but been charged for the cups again .. only noticed because in the nano second you get to read the amount left on the card , the mental calculation says you have been charged about £24 for 4 beers .

Getting cash back then is a drama ,( because they haven't got any )  , they cant credit back to your ecard so you have to wait for the bar manager to get you the £4 while you stand at the end of the bar , like you are in the naughty corner .

I appreciate it should be normal to ask how much you are being charged before giving your card ,  but Ive seen plenty like me that don't and just put the Membership Card on the machine -I would urge you to ask them to confirm how much they are charging before you pay.

I don't believe their is anything underhand going on ,  it is simply down to lack of training and understanding of the tills and the system

I tried using the eCash for a while - but although it is amazingly convenient, I found that there were too many cases of it going wrong.  So, now I prefer to use the credit card machines instead as you can see the amount you are going to be charged before you tap the card.

However, I would say that in all cases where eCash did go wrong, the club always refunded me the money without any quibble.

ecash is great in the first hour of opening because you get 20% back. However you need to make sure they aren't overcharging you!
