I've always rated Swiel and would thank him and wish him all the best at his new club apart from when he comes up against us.  :D Smith needs all the game time and experience to bring him on as I can see Smith being the future for us. It does sound like the CAT is nearly ready to start playing again. YAMAS - (Sorry went to a Greek restaurant for the first time last night).

At this stage and no offence to Cat, I would rather Swiel than Cat; great cover at 10 and 15 and I feel he’s played some outstanding rugby in the Premiership Sheild games. But as DOK rightly said, sad to see him go but if it’s to further his career a mans got to do what a mans got to do

I always likes Swiel. Thought he had an excellent pass, real pace, & an ability to get runners coming onto the ball from deep. He's worked on his kicking. Shame but as he has such outstanding ability he cant waste away & not get any gametime. Best of luck.

I think the issue was that we had a world class 10 ahead of them all, so whenever he was at least 60% fit he would start, because you knew he could control a game at the top level, kicj his goals etc. Because NEv as an automatic name on the teamsheet wen fit, the development of the understudy was stunted. Swiel. Botica, Urdapiletta & Clg had limited opportunities. Whenever NEv was injured, each of them would have a few weeks as starting 10 and begin to show the skills that made us sign them in the first place, but as soon as NEv was close to being on the mend, they were shunted onto the bench and would get 10 minutes a week if they were lucky.
