By “when will it end” I am referring to looking back at the past to find some kind of racism that some group or person has inadvertently or perhaps purposely done.
I agree OJQuin every body should be treated equally but I don’t think it will ever happen. We mustn’t forget that racism happens in all races you don’t only have to be white to be one.

But he didn't say that. He said:-

"My best guess is: when minority ethnic people are treated fairly in all aspects of life".

I think it would be good if everyone was treated fairly.

They are. If they feel they aren't, there are laws that can be enforced. But let's face it - we all feel unfairly treated at some point; but some of us can't blame it on ethnicity.

I got really confused the other day when it was found that football commentators could be inadvertently racist by saying that an up and coming young black player could be the new Patrick Viera. This is racial stereotyping as is the way you might describe the physical attributes or qualities of a black player. It doesn’t matter what you say at the moment it will be wrong from some angle or other.

Imagine what the reaction would be if a commentator said the same up and coming black player could be the next Lionel Messi then!

They are? Seriously? All minority ethnic people are treated fairly in all aspects of life?

You didn't really mean to say that did you?

So as a white person you are a racist if you "black face" (which I kind of get). You are a racist if you compare one black person to another (which I don't get). You are not a racist if you compare a white person to another (obviously).
Now what if I thought Raheem Sterling runs (not looks) like a spider monkey what does that make me, apart from probably a nutter!
I'm very rarely offended by words said about me and find it a little difficult to understand why anybody should be offended by words. I'm lucky I suppose that I've accepted I am what I am and learnt to be happy with it!

If you said that about Raheem Sterling, you'd most likely be only the latest person in a long line of people who have made monkey references of various kinds to/about Raheem Stirling and, being sick of monkey references over a prolonged period of time, he'd probably categorise you with all the other monkey comment types accordingly, based on his lifetime experience.  Others who have experienced multiple monkey reference comments over a prolonged period of time who heard you make that comment may well categorise you likewise.

If you just thought it, and kept it to yourself, no-one would know...

That thing going over your head... It's the point that you've missed.

Most, if not all people get treated unfairly at some point - or at least feel that they do. If a black person (rightly or wrongly) believes they are treated unfairly, it doesn't mean it's BECAUSE they are black.

Let me put this simply. If two people, one black and one white, are stopped from entering a club, the automatic assumption is that there is racism towards the black person. But what is it towards the white person?

The reason I asked quite nicely was that I thought you must have made a typo.

As a reminder in reply to "when minority ethnic people are treated fairly in all aspects of life" you said "They are". I had assumed you meant to say "they should be" as it is quite apparent there are very many instances where they aren't.

The fact that rather that acknowledge that what you said was incorrect and take the opportunity of wording it better you insult me and then ask me a question which has absolutely nothing to do with the point I made says a lot about you and very little of it good in my opinion.

I have no desire to become the latest victim of your ever increasing spats on here so I will leave you to have the final word. I tried to help you by pointing out the absurdity of what you posted but I should have realised that as others have discovered you are beyond help.

I wish you the afternoon you deserve.

It’s not a matter of opinion, there is plenty of objective evidence.

And the other way. They don't all think the same.
