Now on the Bristol Site:

Sad days for Quins but its rare for players to stay at the same club out of loyalty these days, money talks!

Good luck Kyle

Shame to lose him, but good luck to him nonetheless.

He hasn’t been interested since coming back. Good luck to Will Collier I say...

Bristol are obviously managing their salary cap well to be able to afford to pay Kyle the big bucks. Can't blame him for going but would have loved him to stay and become a Quins legend.

Madigan is rumoured to be on a hefty wedge and hasn’t played much this season. Wonder if he’s off in the summer.

People who say Kyle hasn’t been interested and there’s no loyalty are idiots. It’s a short career and he’s 26 ish.
If you were offered the same job for more money in another company, you’d take it. Rugby isn’t any difference! At the end of the day, he needs to think about what he will be doing in 6-8 years time when retirement comes his way.
Show the guy some respect. He’s been a great asset to the club and I wish him the best of luck!

Must be. They would be foolish to deliberately cheat the cap in the current climate.

I'd much prefer to have AD than Kyle and I'm glad the club made the right choice out of the two.

Kyle has no where near the same impact in a Quins shirt than an England one. No point in spending big on a player who is unavailbale for huge chuncks of the season these days.

Good luck Kyle but I'd argue losing James Johnston was a bigger lose after our championship winning run.

Sorry to see him go but I do agree that he hasn't been great this season. Whether that is injury, hangover from the RWC, distractions of negotiation with Brizz or whatever it is he has not been anything like as good as he can be.

Good day for bad news!

Great shame, but the much rumoured £500k would change most players' minds, so I can't disrespect that. Very best of luck to him. I will though be checking out his attitude when he returns from the 6 Nations. I hope he can put in some proper Sinck performances to sign off at the level we can all respect.

I think people are forgetting the performances that turned him into an international to begin with. Kyle can do things very few props can.

Good luck to him. Can't blame someone for turning down £500,000. Bit of as shame he had a dig at the club a while back about the JTH and Lowe situations.

As others have said, hard to justify spending that much to keep a player who's away a lot of the season. He'll still be missed though. Hopefully we get a decent replacement and he puts in some good performances for us after the 6 nations
