Thanks BQ ...Looks like they proved with proper analysis what may have been obvious before, but wasnt backed up with data ... ie if Danny Care pops a pass to James Chisholm who lowers his shoulder into the tackle , that it is often a back he crashes into who comes off much worse .

Very difficult for a tackler to engage a ball carrier bent at the waist that plants a foot and drives into him  which is why its been standard practice for going into contact for donkeys years .
