Not expecting much at all from that lineup. Just hoping we avoid injuries really.

A couple of quick Quins scores would make for an interesting evening.

One thing I find interesting in this team selection is no Ross Chisholm, we've decided to go with Oscar Beard on the wing which I have no issue with but I now wonder what is Ross' role on the squad?

At least we won’t be ungracious in victory.

It does make the decision to award him a contract extension even more baffling.

Looking at the team we put out against Ulster there about 11 from that 23 in this one.
chnages are
Lewies
Lamb
Wallace
Landajo
Beard
Tapui
Marchant
Morris
Baxter
Edwards

hopefully they will improve our showing from that game

what a physical side for Beard to debut against....
great to see Scott Steele back from injury - he could be an important back up for us in the play-offs...

Once Exeter won last week it made an already slim hope of top two pretty much non-existent. On that basis it makes sense to allow any niggles to clear up, rest and avoid injury to key players.

Hopefully full strength next week though.

Think Beard has always had the versatility to play both 13 and wing. I’m sure he’s  played  the wing for England U20s this season.  Going to be a real test for him against that Sale backline.

Baxter getting thrown into the deep end again, up against that monster Racing pack and now Sale’s where he’ll either be facing a Springbok or Welsh international.

Have trained with Oscar Beard many a time at my local rugby club situated in Hampshire a good number of occasions over the years. Great guy and very talented. When he first came a few years ago it was obvious instantly what a talented player he was already and due to become. Nice guy too. Good luck Oscar!!

After the Sale vs Bristol game, this game might be hard to watch.  :o

I was baffled that we extended it too - can only think it was some sort of 2-for-1 deal if we renewed James contract
