I agree to an extent. I would have thought that attitude and workrate in training are the bare minimum though. It seems more likely to me that they're picked because of rotation. I'm sure that poor attitude and effort and poor performances in the Premiership Shield and Cup can cost you your chance for a crack at the first team, but I don't think you'd get promoted just because oyou've applied yourself. Then again I'm not sure that's what he's saying. Anyway, good to see them getting a chance.
