Walker?
Yeah, he can play as well.........swap him for Wilson!!!! **
**Honkytonk sits Wilson down to break the bad news, and to also ask him who he is!!
Not sure Taulani has done anything to deserve being drafted into the starting line up. Same for CSW
I wanted to give Dombrandt a break, but keep some beef/lump in the pack (its my main worry about Lawday, very game but lacks the punch sometimes). We look a much better side when we have our big ball carriers causing trouble/making space.

Agreed. On form, it will be a while before Taulani starts ahead of Lawday.
If I'm remembering correctly, Irish have the weakest scrum in the prem, so I'd personally rest Marler this week so that we can play him against Leicester and in Europe.
Dino Lamb has been terrific and I think he will start. He is certainly putting himself in the mix to be considered in the starting line up, even when everyone is fit.
I think Symons might still be recovering from his injury in any case, so I reckon Lamb and Lewies will be in the XV, with Tizard on the bench.
CSW did add some heft but might need a little longer to get properly ready for the league games. When he is ready, he will be great!
Listening to the start of this week's "Joe Marler Show" I'm not sure we'll necessarily see him on Saturday. Still clearly suffering from the effects of Covid and he explains how he really struggled on Saturday when he came on in the second half. He just hadn't appreciated how much it had taken out of him physically (despite the shed workouts) and was just glad that Eddie hadn't started him!

A number of posters on here couldn't believe Eddie didn't start him against South Africa. Perhaps COVID is a thing after all.
Interesting! Just looking at the line up for the other matches, it looks like a lot of the England players are back in straight away. For example, Lawes and May are starting, Blamire is taking his usual spot on the bench. Ewels is in for Bath but Hill is not for Exeter. No Sale, Quins or Sarries news until tomorrow.
This is interesting because, like most, I thought they would have this week off and be back for next week.
In any case, we need everyone available for a tricky Irish side and a tough trip to Welford Road.
I wonder if there might be a bit of rotation for Castres and Cardiff, not that I want us to take Europe lightly!
Team up but not up! Gives us a clue!

Yes! Judging by the picture, Joe Marchant is back - which is great.
It has been lovely to see and hear the recognition he has got this week. Obviously we have known his brilliance for several years but he still remains a bit of a mystery to others.
As stated above, Joe Marler did seem to be struggling, so I imagine he will be on the bench, at the most.
We will see!
Interesting that the article is not showing now, I have refreshed site and still not showing.
This is interesting and gives a view on why this will be closer than people think
