Gussy has already said he wants to have everyone get some game time during the pre-seasons, so it's no surprise that we haven't seen all the senior players yet. If we haven't seen them after *next* weeks game then I'd be concerned about injuries. Until then, I'd suggest people relax, enjoy the pre-season games and look forward to the start of things proper in 2 weeks time.

Great to see Renaldo Bothma back on the team sheet. And seeing Dino Lamb at 6 is a pleasant surprise. He picked up a nasty injury at the end of the season and would surely have gone to France with England U20s. He is still only 20 but at 6' 4" and 17st he gives us options in the lineout. I'm hoping this is Dino's breakthrough year with Quins.

The only downer is no Catrakilis. He needs game time so here's hoping it is nothing serious, if indeed he has an injury. Hoping Horwill ready for next week.

No word anywhere that the Cat has an injury. Maybe he’s giving everyone a run. Let’s see next week.

Bubble wrap ordered for Bothma's arm?

On the contrary, I think his new nickname is Hellboy. Hellboy Bothma - there's a certain ring to it!

I feel sorry for Ben Tapuai... It's his debut too:

“The Club will be offering a big welcome to Matt [Symons], Nick [Auterac] and Nathan [Earle] as they make their debuts..."

Tapuai played last week against Jersey.

It’s not his debut.

Oops. Just that he had no caps listed against his name. Obviously friendlies don't count. (Which makes sense in hindsight)

Ignore me!
