A shame that Semi isn’t back in, an absolute superstar who really has struggled to get in Quins team, which is a real shame

A magic trip ahead to play Clermont Auvergne,
The highly charged atmosphere last years lessons to learn.

The French don’t like a game played tres vite,
Danny and Marcus be quick on your feet.

Those traveling comme moi, to enjoy a bonne journee ahead,
Vin, Ricard et Biere, et bien sur Fromage et Bread.

The time has arrived boys to get the season really going,
Line speed in defence and quick ball wide, will definitely have les Francais blowing

COYQ let’s play with sourires et style,
Your defensive strength has been there for a while.

Ce Samedi however one more important thing,
A relentless clinical attack and you will win.

Yes I'm surprised he's not in the squad for this game and also thought Marler might start - other English teams are fielding their RWC players this weekend. Lasike clearly not fancied either

Another average Quins side

Less than average I fear. The front five, as a group are just not strong enough to compete at this level. I despair somewhat. Why no Marler? He appears under the heading Rugby World Cup, what does this mean? Exe played all their RWC lot last week! Pleased to see Symons. Why Youngs and not Cavubati? They’ll murder Youngs.
The back row is under powered without Chis or AD or even Semi (if he still lives). That’s no-one’s fault.
Anyway, here now and still looking forward to it big time.

Given that there's no way we can possibly get out of this Pool, it's sensible to "do a Sarries" in our selections and focus on survival in the Premiership.

Mind you, we know that "doing a Sarries" in their case means only fielding 10 internationals in the matchday squad rather than 23 ...

Clubs can be fined if they don't put out a "reasonable" team (i.e. if you put out all your academy boys instead of fit senior players).

I’m not sure what else could be expected given the injury list and with Joe and Kyle still out of the equation. The only player outside this 23 with a case for inclusion is Semi Kuantani but who knows what sort of form he's in after the world cup. Cavubati could have started but Youngs is a better pairing with Symmons. For me, Lang is the only odd choice. Hes a good player but  I don’t really see him as an outside centre.

It is not our best team tonight, but I think you have more wounded than us.
Impossible to say what will happen, but I'm sure it will be an interesting game.
