If we don't lose this match heavily I will be astonished. At least Gustard won't say afterwards "Shame about the result, we trained well in the week" because most of his first choice 23 were injured that week!

The game is now effectively a dead rubber.
Hopefully both teams go out and have a bit of fun and there are no injuries

Our front 5 look very weak and even if the ball is passed about I am not sure that we will ever get hold of it

I’m just shocked by our injury list yet again. I don’t know what the answer is but the lengthy injury list has been a problem for a few seasons now.

That’s a rather extensive injury list. Just hope none of them are long term. I suppose the mad schedule was always likely to take its toll one way or another.

Don't underestimate the youngsters in the front row. They may surprise you.
Tigers probably don't have a lot of video analysis of these guys to work out where the weaknesses are.

Same here - I've hardly seen them play except for the last few games!

Game may well be a mud bath - lots of rain between now and then.

Yes it's a shame there aren't a few more familiar faces to take the field with Robbo one last time, such Browny and Joe. But the positive for me is seeing young Louis Lynagh in the match day 23 for the first time together with Messrs Head and Musk. Good to see some fresh faces coming through from the Academy.

Im not too worried about our front 5 tbh.  Kerrod has been our best TH since restart, Els was an excellent LH in the Champ and looked pretty solid in his breif cameo against Wasps. Likewise so did Head.  Im excited to see how they get on.  Youngs and Lamb, on paper are lightweight, but neither had a bad game against Wasps, we did not loose the game in the second row. 

Re Lynagh, does anyone on here know what his best position is??

He generally plays at full back at Richmond. He looks good when he plays there

On the grounds that "we have to say that" because Premiership rules mean we are "not allowed" to play a knowingly weakened team? Just as none of the other teams have been doing recently because of the fixture congestion ...

The weather today dictates a forward based game I would imagine. Kicking long for territory will probably be easy unless against the wind as the ball won’t bounce much in the mud. It’s not going to be a spectacle but if we can grind out a win to show that we CAN win ugly I will take that. My glass is half full in that there are five worse teams than us.
