We are still in a great position for top 4.  Wasps lost without taking any points.  they are 12 behind us now with 5 left.  Saints 8 with 5 left to play.  Bath got Chiefs tomorrow.  The tricky one is Sale vs Newcastle  later.  Falcons could really help us out.  I would rather be in our position than the teams chasing us.

Top 4 will just result in another spineless effort away from home.

One way to look at it, Sarries would have beaten most sides today, I am sure of that.  We were crap second half and yet still got a LBP. Two of their tries came originally from us not being able to hit a barn door at LO time.

Still have Saints at home and Wasps away, those games could be huge

Hopefully Baldwin coming will improve the lineout.

Quite possibly, but I am sure we would have taken top 4 at the start of the season??  And hey, one off game, who knows

Teams have to take more advantage of Saracens' poor first halves.  They rarely continue into the second half.

Apart from our lack of discipline, we showed little or no plan to break through their defence for most of the game, like the bad old days.  We need to fix players before we pass, we need more players running lines.  I thought, again, Brown showed some of the best attacking, he is playing his best rugby this season.  But sadly we need much, much more if we are to compete for silver

Id probably have taken an LBP before kick off. Frustrating that we made so many unforced errors throughout a dire second half. Dave’s mindless penalties capped it off. Still, hopefully Falcons will be fired up against Newcastle!

I would have taken top 6 at the start of the season to be honest

Hmm, replay of the Care/Williams incident.  Not enough being made of Williams' forearm to Care's neck.

Agreed. Both definitely indulged in foul play but Williams elbow to the throat was particularly over the top.

Obviously would have preferred a win or draw there but it was a Herculean bit of riding our luck to come away with a LBP. Two disallowed tries for Sarries, Goode's missed pen and our LO back to its 2016/17 worst.....I'll take it.

It's actually something the touch judge mentioned to JP Doyle immediately after the incident, but nothing more was said about it thereafter.

It's clear that we lack a bit of quality from the bench. Hopefully the new signings will improve things next season. Wardy was Def a game changer.

😂 you got that right, game changer in a negative way
