Weird interview from Mark McCall in the BBC match preview: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/47627305

Quote
"It's a neutral venue in many ways as Wembley had become a bit of a second home for us.

"If you're asking the coach, you probably want to play at Allianz Park in a game like this one but the players enjoy something different.

"It is an iconic stadium but for us we still have a job to do, and having ceded home advantage it is important we put our best foot forward.

"Quins have been really strong since Christmas and they have belief now. They will be very motivated because they are close to us in the table, and we have one eye on Glasgow [in the European Champions Cup] the week after."

Getting his excuses in! Haven't seen a DOR talk like that prior to a game though. Usually it's all "we're fully focused on this week and haven't even thought about Glasgow" etc...

Really happy with the team. Danny Care's return is an absolute blessing. Very happy with Marler, Sinckler and Smith in the starting line up too, of course!

I think we have a good chance tomorrow. The key thing is to start well (as we have done in 2019) and get some points on the board early. That was what cost us in the game against Glaws; we didn't score from a couple of good opportunities.

2 bp points (high scoring defeat by 7 or less) would not be the end of the world if other results go our way.

Tigers beat Saints
Gloucs beat Wasps
Falcons beat Sale
Cheifs beat Bath

We would slip to 4th but still be 9/10/11 points clear of the 5th placed side with another game gone

Saints leading Tigers 20-3 at h/t so lets not count on results going our way.

Sad to say that even this would not tempt me:

Free tickets - Saracens vs Quins

Courtesy of members who are now unable to attend the game at the London Stadium tomorrow, we have 4 tickets (all together) available looking for a good home.

There is no charge for the tickets

could try paying us but I don’t think even £50 would do it!

Can’t stand the “ Sarries big game “ much rather go to Allianz
But tbh I think that’s one of the reasons they always want Quins as many just got bored/disliked and don’t bother going
Last time we played them at Allianz we out shouted their home support, it’s also one of the reasons they don’t like to give a big Quins seating allocation, last time I went to Wembley we where all over the place

As for today just hope the Gloucester game was a real wake up call or it’s going to be a miserable day

For anyone not near a TV and who doesn't want to jump through all the stupid hoops trying to watch something on Channel 5's website, you should be able to watch it here - https://tvcatchup.com/

I'm not even sure if it'a available on Channel 5's own website anyway, looks like it may be TV only.

Be handy if the commentators on channel 5 could get the players name right

If I were a Sarries fan, I’d be very upset with how JP Doyle is refereeing the breakdown. On the other hand, a couple of the penalties against Quins have been pretty harsh.

Saracens look seriously out of sorts.  Will they get the hairdryer treatment at half time, or is this just not being prioritised?

Just wondering how long Sarries get when the ball is at the back of the ruck...
