At least one positive is we've gone from starting **** and finishing well, to turning it on its head, and starting well, and bottling things.

Agreed. Both definitely indulged in foul play but Williams elbow to the throat was particularly over the top.

Williams is over the top in general. Great player but ugly attitude on the pitch towards the opposition in most games IMO. A right jerk chicken if you ask me

Imagine the reaction had that been Mike Brown

After the Glos debacle a lbp is an ok return and if we make top 4 at the end that is a damn fine outcome after just one season of Gussie’s reign.
Yes penalty count awful but fixable and Ward is on his bike.

Agreed. But Liam Williams isn’t English so gets more of a free pass on stuff like that in the eyes of the media.  *joke before anyone gets upset*

I would have taken top 6 at the start of the season to be honest

So would I, but it doesn't make these awful performances any more palatable.

I know, I am not saying it does and is certainly frustrating that the leaps forward so far seem to have a few backward steps now. Couple of big games coming up to cement a top four spot.

Not too long ago we won away at Bath.  I think so early into a new "Project" you are going to get these type of games where things go wrong and players revert back to "Bad" type.  I am very happy with this season and I also think we will be ok in making the top 4. 2 bad results, a few brilliant ones before that.

Thrashed by Glaws at home followed by a bonus point away at Sarries. See-Saw Season.

Yeah, he’s lucky it wasn’t Brown.

Anyone remember Brown squaring up to and owning Michael Hooper during RWC2015 after a dodgy clean out? Too funny

Hmm, replay of the Care/Williams incident.  Not enough being made of Williams' forearm to Care's neck.

I still don't understand why Sarries got the penalty simply because Care apparently started it. Retaliation normally sees the penalty reversed.

I think there may be a citing or two after this game. Just a feeling, before anyone gets antsy and demands chapter and verse.

No matter what we’ve improve so much this season.  A lbp in todays game is a right result.  Of course it would nice to win but lets be honest we were in top gat while Sarries were in third.  Momentum is changing though.  We’ll be top four this season.  A few more signings to come and we’ll be top 2.  COYQ
