An interesting read. Here's hoping that we have a few less injuries this season and their prediction of Gussy being able to mix'n'match the backline week by week pays off.

I think he'll have a pretty good idea come the start of the season what he wants and who to deliver it. There is the ability to tweak the team for different weather conditions and opponents that is a nice thign to have.

Hmm, it's a bit of a nothing article that basically lists players in certain positions and has nothing meaningful to say about any of them. Reads more like a love letter than any kind of analysis.

I believe thanks to the recruitment JK did for last season, it's the strongest squad on paper I can remember. If they can all stay fit this season, or at least as fit as the average club, then we have a real chance of making top 6, outside chance top 4.

It's a fair point that we can field a really diverse mix of styles if we choose to (and if all the players are fit), with actual options (rather than just starter and backup) in most positions. It could make us very difficult to defend against. Or it could just mean we're very inconsistent.
