There have been mixed reports of his role there and I’m struggling to see whether it will be remembered as a success or not. I recall some mentioning he has had some responsibility for the oversight of the development of the broader game in Italy and therefore could he be given any credit for the significant improvement in Italian sides in the Pro 12 and Euro competitions? However when it comes to the national side’s performances it’s hard to see lots of progress. Seems to be a tough project for whoever gets the job...
