There certainly bee a change in the attitude of the club since ME came in as CEO to give a more corporate approach to the club which has taken away some of the old style geniality of the amateur days such as the jovial music and the family feel and bring in a more structured approach such as certain players being available in the Kings Bar after the match rather than all the players just going to the bar after etc.
It has brought in a lot of revenue (second highest in Prmeirship) but also brought in a lot more costs such as a director earning £215,000 per year!
OK I slightly segwayed a bit to the other topic regarding costs and revenues, but it relates a bit becaue Max did not want to follow what they wanted to do so left amongst other former staff members etc.
On the other side of the argument, I found Max pretty annoying and am a lot happier with the quality of facilities and stuff for kids etc since it changed. Players appearing in the bar sadly is down to the professionalisation and growth of the sport - not sure you'll find that anywhere but not sure it's just a Quins decision.
