The point is that the club went out of their way to ask loyal supporters to fork out - a recommended minimum of £250 - to the foundation. And then, with a matter of weeks, have announced that the club contributions to the same foundation have been reduced.
I presume that the club knew that asking fans to fork out money for the ladies team or academy would not be as appealing.
It seems very underhand to me
