The ever growing salary cap, marquee players, seas of red ink across premiership rugby clubs financial results - that this point is probably a high water mark for the size of TV deal the clubs can hope to achieve. The game as it stands is resting mostly on the willingness of rich club owners willing to underwrite the ongoing losses.
Sorry we're veering OT here a bit! Not too impressed by how the club have gone about this. Bit amateur hour. Happy to support the academy and the ladies but be upfront about it.
