Yeah definitely wasn't saying that was my opinion. But some people will read the clamouring column inches around Genge and the misinformed portraits of Marler as some kind of pantomime villain and come to the "Genge > Marler" conclusion. When in fact it's a lot more complex (and interesting) than that - Joe is a serious pro now in every facet of the game and there aren't many props in the business I'd take over him. Genge is still relatively young and can wreak havoc in the loose when he's interested - if he can refine his tight work he'll be a very important player for England in future years.
But yeah, Tigers have serious problems up front. Especially as Genge is one player who has literally spoken out loud about not wanting to hang around at Tigers forever (in relation to wanting to go back to Brizz in the not-too-distant). Even if he doesn't go, overhaul needed.
